Temporary Changes to Weekend DalesBus Services from Ribblehead
There is disruption to the DalesBus 80 service – you may use this bus in connection with the Yorkshire Dales Explorer train – and a couple of other DalesBus services, details below.
DalesBus services from Ribblehead Station will be disrupted by road closures on three weekends in the next few weeks.
Due to the closure of the road between Hawes and Ribblehead for repairs for two periods in May/June 2026 DalesBus services 80, 830 and 858 will be revised on days when the road is closed as follows:
Saturday DalesBus 80
Buses will be unable to serve Hawes on Saturdays 9th May, 16th May and 6th June, however extra journeys will run between Ribblehead and Ingleton instead to connect with the Yorkshire Dales Explorer train.
Buses will run from/to Ribblehead Station on those days as follows:
From Ribblehead Station at: 1027 to Ingleton, 1127 to Ingleton/Lancaster, 1652 to Ingleton and 1752 to Ingleton/Lancaster
Buses will return from Lancaster as usual at 0900 and 1530 and from Ingleton Community Centre at 0955, 1105, 1625 and 1725.
Sunday DalesBus 830 and 858
Buses will be unable to run between Ribblehead and Hawes on Sundays 10th May, 17th May and 7th June and will instead be diverted to run to/from Garsdale Station.
Buses will run to/from Garsdale Station on those days as follows:
From Garsdale Station at: 1053 to Hawes/Richmond, 1055 to Hawes/Castle Bolton, 1400 to Hawes, 1635 to Hawes and 1850 to Hawes/Richmond/Darlington
Buses will return from Hawes Market Place at: 1005, 1025, 1300, 1605 and 1810
